Adjectives
Adjectives qualify the nouns. They precede the nouns which they qualify. The following table lists a few adjectives and gives examples.
In statements which mention qualities of subjects, however, the adjectives follow the nouns they qualify. They need a supporting verb -a quasi or auxiliary verb - to complete the sense. This aspect will be discussed in the lesson on formation of sentences.
