RULE OF GENDER
In Cutchi every living thing is identified with its biological gender as Male or Female. All non-living things are classified into either male or female according to custom or usage. As a general rule all non-living things that end in 'O' in their singular form are masculine. Those ending in 'I' or 'Y' are feminine. Others are either masculine or feminine. There is no third or neuter gender. Gender is also determined according to the origin of the nouns. Examples
